I joined the contracts team at Head Resourcing in 2025 as a Recruitment Consultant. I have 4 years recruitment experience, working predominantly within the contract’s delivery space. When starting out, I mainly recruited on Government frameworks for the Scottish and UK Government, which included a lot of the main public sector bodies. From there, I moved into the financial sector and consultancy space.
Having spent the last 4 years for the most part interacting on the candidate side, I was keen to join the contracts team here at Head Resourcing to continue to learn and grow professionally. The team here have a wealth of experience and having the opportunity to learn from them and interact more with clients, which was something I was excited to do.
At home I have a lovely partner Cara, and a wee dog called Ru who keeps me busy when I’m not working.
If you could be anywhere other than here, right this minute, where would you be?
I enjoy challenging myself and being out having adventures. Growing up in the Cairngorms I was lucky to have lots of places to go wild camping, hill walking which are some of my favourite things to do. I also love golfing with my pals and although I’m terrible, I keep going back for more.
What was your dream job when you were younger?
I was always keen on joining the military, I have family who were in the forces, so it seemed like a natural step. The adventure and challenge of that environment was always attractive to me.
Favourite memory?
Probably the night my partner and I welcomed back Ru our puppy to our home and having her there for the first night has to be one of my favourite memories.
