Full Stack Developer (Hybrid 2 days per fortnight onsite - Glasgow)

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering market-leading digital products to enhance customer experiences and drive business growth. Core Responsibilities
- Programming & Development: Design, code, test, document, and refactor complex applications and services. Utilise best practices, tools, and security measures to deliver high-quality, maintainable code. Conduct code reviews for both your own work and your peers'.
- Software Design: Collaborate with your team to design software components, define interfaces, and explore solution options. Ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements for security, scalability, and maintainability.
- Database Management: Contribute to designing and supporting database solutions with a focus on performance optimization and data security, especially using SQL-based technologies.
- Systems Build: Build seamless integrations across multiple platforms to ensure reliable system interactions.
- Continuous Delivery (CI/CD): Enhance deployment pipelines through automation and efficiency. Leverage CI/CD practices with tools like Azure DevOps and GitHub to support secure and reliable releases.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience with C# and .NET technologies, as well as React and Next.js for front-end development.
- Strong understanding of web application architecture for both cloud-based and on-premise environments.
- Experience working with SQL databases, focusing on performance optimization and data security.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure, Kubernetes, and Azure SQL.
- Proficient in Agile methodologies and practices, with a collaborative and flexible mindset.
- Experience in CI/CD processes, automation (e.g., Infrastructure as Code), and collective code ownership using tools like Azure DevOps and GitHub.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Familiarity with additional technologies such as Java, Swift, and AWS is beneficial, especially when working on modernizing legacy systems.
Salary up to £60k depending on experience.
