Interim IT Service Manager / Head of IT needed for a well-established professional body based in Edinburgh for an initial 6-month period whilst they recruit for a permanent replacement. The role requires an accomplished IT Manager and Leader with a background in IT Applications, an understanding of Security, Cloud computing and strong Microsoft Application understanding (ideally including Microsoft O365, Dynamics and Azure) combined with the ability to manage a service desk operation.
The role will require a minimum of 1 day per week in Edinburgh and candidates must engage via an FCSA accredited Umbrella company.
In this role you will be responsible for eight IT colleagues, the wider transformation team, as well as providing exceptional IT services to the wider organisation. You will be expected to interpret the current IT strategy, lead all aspects of cyber security, drive innovation and efficiencies, and ensure smooth delivery of the IT transformation programme working closely with the programme team.
Key Skills:
- Previous experience supporting the delivery of successful ERP or CRM implementations, ideally including MS Dynamics within complex organisations
- Proven understanding of cyber security concepts, accreditations, and trends
- Experience of managing small IT Services Desk and IT Engineering teams
- Experience managing suppliers, IT procurement, and the implementation of new systems
- Experience in an IT management role, with demonstrable experience across multiple IT disciplines
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft environments (O365, Azure, Entra ID, and Intune)
