Our client, a financial services organisation, is looking for a Linux RedHat Platform Engineer to work on a 6 month contract with a possible. The role has been assessed as Inside IR35 and the rate is up-to £475 per day to umbrella. The role can be based remotely (within the UK) for the duration of the contract.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working on multiple projects, as well as some BAU support. You will develop, maintain and support the Operational Platform, remediate issues and perform root cause analysis.
The successful candidate will have:
Proven experience of Red Hat's Enterprise Linux v6 upwards including support experience and use of Satellite.
Experience in one or more scripting languages (Ansible, Bash, Python, Perl).
Experience in server implementation, maintenance, monitoring and automation
(Infrastructure as Code) with Ansible
Experience of Docker, Kubernetes or Openshift is highly desirable
Experience of working in an Agile environment
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential
