A well known Financial Services client is currently seeking a Head of Data Management to join them on their BCBS 239 Programme. The selected candidate must have strong working knowledge of this regulation as well as the implementation of technical solutions in this space.

The role is for a 6 month initial contract with a potential to extend. Predominantly based from home (in the UK), there will be a requirement to be onsite in Glasgow & London for workshops. The contract must be facilitated via an umbrella company with a rate banding of £1000 - £1650 per day.

Key skills & experience required -

  • Strong working knowledge of BCBS 239 and the implementation of technical solutions in this space
  • Strong knowledge of tooling & software solutions in relation to data lineage, data quality etc
  • Experience in Collibra is highly preferred
  • Previous experience in owning, evaluating and managing technical solutions, working closely with Architects (Solutions & Data)
  • Understanding of 2nd line of defence risk in banking
  • Excellent communication and senior level stakeholder engagement skills
