Senior IT Support Officer / Team Lead

Head Resourcing are pleased to be working with a leading construction and maintenance company based in Glasgow as they look to hire a Senior Technical Support Officer to join them. They are one of Scotland's largest construction companies working across the public, private, and third sectors. Required Skills:
- Experienced leading other engineers and ensuring the helpdesk is appropriately staffed
- Proven experience supporting an enterprise environment at both 2nd and 3rd line
- Ability to customise desktop configurations, group policies, and user profiles to align with organisational requirements and standards
- Experience configuring, deploying, integrating, and troubleshooting desktop operating systems (e.g. Windows 10/11) and common applications (e.g., O365 - Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
- Knowledge of desktop imaging solutions to streamline deployment processes
- Knowledge of tools such as Intune/SCCM or similar
- Familiarity with desktop virtualisation technologies such as Windows Virtual Desktop / Remote Desktop Services. VMWare Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps or similar.
- Knowledge of desktop security best practice.
