Our Consulting client is seeking an experienced SharePoint Online Developer to develop a secure HR intranet website. The role is deemed Outside IR35 with an expected rate of £350 - £450 per day. There is a requirement to be onsite in Glasgow 3 / 4 days per week and it is expected to be for an initial 3 month contract.

The selected contractor will be responsible for working closely with the internal HR team to agree the design, development, and deployment of an intuitive and user-friendly HR portal on SharePoint Online that complies with security best practices and company policies.

Key skills and experience required for this role include:

  • Proven experience as a SharePoint Online Developer / Microsoft 365 Developer, specifically on secure website development projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of SharePoint Online features such as document libraries, lists, web parts, site templates, and permission management.
  • Strong experience with PowerApps, Power Automate (Microsoft Flow), and Power BI.
  • Hands-on experience with SharePoint customisation using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
  • Knowledge of Azure AD, Active Directory, and OAuth for user authentication and identity management.
  • Previous experience in developing secure HR portals or intranets.
  • Experience integrating SharePoint with third-party software.
  • Knowledge of Azure Information Protection (AIP) and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies.
  • Experience in creating system documentation and user guides as well as provide training HR and IT teams on how to manage, maintain and enhance the portal.
