Technical Programmer Manager (Application Delivery, SDLC) needed for our Financial Services client in Nottingham, though the role is hybrid with 1 day per week onsite.

Candidates must have extensive demonstrable experience in Application and Software development related Project and Programme Delivery within Agile environments combined with strong stakeholder management & communication skills, excellent Programme Planning experience and Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced environment. Ideally you should also have experience delivering mobile or web application solutions within Financial Services or other regulated industries.

Candidates must engage via an FCSA umbrella company with a top end rate of £650 per day. The role will be for an initial 6-9-months and will require a minimum of 1 day per week onsite in Nottingham.

Key Experience Required:

  • Extensive demonstrable experience in project & programme management within an Agile environment, with previous experience in a technical role (e.g. software development, systems/technical architecture).
  • Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), modern software development practices, and technologies.
  • Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile project management tools.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong Project and Programme planning experience, including both high level strategic and details plans.
  • Financial literacy around forecasting and managing budgets, costs, and revenue. Understanding of financial impacts of decisions.
  • Ideally, experience delivering Mobile or Web application solutions within Financial Services environments.
