UX Designer - Contract

An Edinburgh based Financial Services Client is currently seeking an experienced UX Designer Contractor to join their team. Well known for their great company culture & working environment, this will be an initial 3-month Contract to fill a short-term gap.
Working from their Edinburgh Office (working in a hybrid-way), the successful candidate should have the following knowledge & experience:
- Extensive experience in UX Design with excellent understanding of wireframing, interaction design, information architecture, and accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA, etc), alongside a strong Portfolio of Work.
- Additional knowledge in all aspects of conducting user research, usability testing & data analysis etc
- Proficiency with UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD (or anything similar)
- Previous experience in Financial Services - Banking, Pensions, Insurance, Wealth Management, Investments etc
- Excellent people skills with the ability to hit the ground running in new environments
Given the short-term duration of the Contract, my Client is ideally seeking candidates who are AVAILABLE NOW/AT SHORT NOTICE and those who are based locally & able to work onsite circa 2 days per week.
