Vulnerability Management Specialist

1 day per month on site (Glasgow)

Up to £55k + benefits (43.5 days annual leave, up to 13% pension contribution, bonus, and more!)

Head Resourcing are pleased to be working with our large financial services client to assist them in hiring a talented Vulnerability Management Specialist. Our client offers an exceptional place to work, with remote working and a market leading benefits package.

Our client is looking for a Vulnerability Management Specialist to join their Security Operations department. This role will contribute to the development, maintenance, and overall delivery of Cyber Security controls for our client, reporting to the Threat and Vulnerability Manager. In this role you will be responsible for operating and managing our clients Vulnerability Management, Pen Testing, and SDLC security controls, as well as providing security input and understanding for vulnerabilities which threatens our clients business.

In this role they are looking for experience in:

  • Specialist working knowledge of a vulnerability management scanning tool such as Qualys, SonaType, or SonarQube
  • Good understanding of the Qualys application, and its core and ideally enhanced modules
  • Experience in the analysis of vulnerabilities identified
  • Practical knowledge of scripting
  • Knowledge of Azure and cloud infrastructure
  • Knowledge of Pen Testing, its practical approaches and methodologies
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to influence and drive change in a collaborative way
