Our Edinburgh based FinTech/Financial Services Client is currently seeking a Contract Tester to join their team, supporting a project focussed on developing a new digital Customer Solution/Service.

A great Client with a great reputation, and an organisation we've worked with for several years, initial Contracts will be for 3-6 months and our Client is seeking some who can be responsible for:

  • The analysis of requirements and creation of test resources
  • Test Execution - both manual and automated
  • Test activity reporting & defect management/tracking
  • Participation in daily Standup meetings, Sprint Planning, Backlog review and Retrospective meetings

And to be successful in this Contract, previous knowledge & experience should include:

  1. Proven Testing experience with demonstrable knowledge in all aspects of Test Planning, Design and Execution etc
  2. Strong knowledge & experience Testing Solutions/Services in the FinTech/Financial Services sector (ideally Pensions/Savings/Investments sector)
  3. Experience working with cloud-based infrastructure and technologies, preferably AWS.
  4. Experience testing REST APIs
  5. Additional knowledge & experience of Java/GoLang development languages
  6. Excellent people, communication & Stakeholder Management skills as always
  7. Any knowledge & experience around Customer Data/Data Sharing would be highly advantageous
