IT Project Manager

Contract Duration: 4-5 months initially

Rate: £500-£550 per day (Outside IR35)

Public Sector

Location: Glasgow (Hybrid)

Our Glasgow based Public Sector Client is currently seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join their team on a Contract basis.

A great client that we've worked with for many years now, the contract will be working from their office in Central Glasgow (hybrid) and initial Contracts will be for 4-5 months (OutsideIR35).

Joining an existing team responsible for the delivery of multiple projects (IT infrastructure projects including technical upgrades, bandwidth expansions, office moves, legacy application replacements & the delivery of software development projects/business system upgrades etc), our Client is seeking candidates with the following knowledge & experience:

  • Extensive IT Project Management experience with relevant industry qualifications (PRINCE2, MSP, APM, PMI etc)
  • Broad technical knowledge across a range of Infrastructure technologies and multiple applications
  • Previous experience in the Scottish Public Sector would be highly advantageous
  • Experience of leading change with a proven track record of managing projects within agreed timescales
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management & Stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience of procurement and commissioning processes including negotiation with 3rd parties
  • Experience of managing the delivery of key external supplier organisations with excellent communication & inter-personal skills
