SharePoint Consultant (SharePoint Online Migration) needed for our Consultancy client in in the North of England. The right candidate must have extensive demonstrable experience in SharePoint Information Architecture, content management & governance combined with data migrations experience, including migrating data from legacy systems on to SharePoint Online environments.
The role is Outside IR35 and requires candidates to work 1-2 days every fortnight onsite in Leeds.
The role will require the successful candidates to help to deliver a complex SharePoint to SharePoint Online migration, using migration software (such as Quest/Metalogix) to plan & execute site migrations, resolving errors and running scripts to validate success. The role will require the Consultant to work closely with the Project Manager and wider technical team, provide training as needed and understand migration requirements and objectives.
Key Skills:
- Previous experience as a SharePoint Technical Consultant
- Demonstrable experience in SharePoint Online Migrations
- Experience in SharePoint Information architecture, content management & governance
- Experience of using migration software (ideally Quest/Metalogix)
- Strong understanding of SharePoint, Office 365, and cloud migration practices
- Automation & Scripting experience (PowerShell, scripting in Sharegate)
- Understanding of data security and compliance standards in cloud environments
